Account Creation: You may create an account using your email address and password or through Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Account Security: You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for extended periods. You may request account deletion at any time.
Registration: Event registrations are subject to availability and eligibility criteria set for each event. Registration confirmation is not guaranteed until you receive an official confirmation with a registration number.
Attendance: By registering for an event, you commit to attending. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future registrations.
Code of Conduct: All event participants must adhere to the IEEE Code of Ethics and our event code of conduct, which includes:
• Treating all participants, speakers, sponsors, and organizers with respect.
• Refraining from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.
• Following event-specific rules and guidelines provided by organizers.
• Respecting intellectual property and not recording sessions without permission.
Cancellation by User: Registration cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the event start time. Refund policies vary by event and are specified on each event's registration page.
Cancellation by Organizer: We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify events. In such cases, registered participants will be notified and offered a full refund for paid events.
Pricing: Event fees, if applicable, are clearly displayed on the event registration page. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise.
Payment Processing: Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (Razorpay). We do not store your complete payment card information.
Refund Policy: Refunds for paid events are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method. Specific refund conditions may vary by event.
Promo Codes: Promotional discount codes are subject to their specific terms and conditions, including validity period, usage limits, and applicable events.
Our Content: All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of IEEE SMC KARE or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
IEEE Branding: The IEEE name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Use of these marks is governed by IEEE brand guidelines.
User Content: By submitting content (such as event feedback, photos, or forum posts), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our activities.
Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Issuance: Certificates of participation, achievement, or completion are issued at our discretion based on event attendance and participation criteria.
Verification: Certificates include unique verification codes and QR codes that can be used to verify their authenticity through our website.
Accuracy: We strive to ensure certificate details are accurate. If you notice an error, contact us within 30 days of issuance for correction.
Misuse: Forging, altering, or misrepresenting IEEE SMC KARE certificates is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
You agree not to:
• Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Website or its systems.
